Yellow and White Flowers - - How Cheerful
Here is the newest of my cards! It is such a cheery card! Almost like spring. Even though we are in the throws of winter, I was able to enjoy a day of sunshine (not so typical for the Pacific Northwest! and it seemed almost like spring......
But, since spring is sooo far off, I decided a cheerful card was in order.
Filled with whimsical yellow flowers and gray leaves, I decided a split layout would look nice. The bold hello sentiment is my own attempt at calligraphy while the dear friend is a computer font.
To add a bit of dimension, I applied Glossy Accents on the little yellow flowers and the middle of the big flowers. The finished look is shiny and perfect.
I also wanted to add something to the inside of the card. While blank inside is great, I thought this card would look perfect if it included inside borders.
I ended up making two versions of this card. Here is the second with white and yellow flowers.
