A Whimsical Birthday Card

Since September and October are filled with birthdays for family and friends - I knew it was time to add some new cards to my birthday card stash. After making several cards, I came up with this whimsical card. I think it is a perfect birthday card for someone special.
From the robin's egg blue stripes to the doodle decorations on the cake and stand to the cabbage roses, this card is both sweet and fun!
While being simple, this birthday card is full of special touches. I added a bit of sparkle to the cake decorations, candle and cabbage roses with a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen. The liner contains the cabbage roses and the birthday sentiment of A Sweet and Happy Day to You!
The envelope is hand made and lined with the cabbage roses. A great birthday card and one that was easy to make and perfect to give.
